Ultimate Muscle - The Kinnikuman
Legacy G2 Small PVC Figures
Basics:
 There
are 60 figures total in sets 1-4. That's 15 figures per set, but in
all actuality there are some crossover figures between the 4 sets,
such as the posed set of Mantaro (Kid Muscle) doing the Kinniku-Driver
on Kinnikuman Suguru (King Muscle), which is in sets 2 and 4. The
figures are approximately the same size as the original Kinkeshi or
M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. The plastic is a semi rubbery or soft plastic,
the same that is used to make the Romandoh figures, which is the same
as is used in the soft parts of the new GI Joe and Transformers line.
It is NOT the same as M.U.S.C.L.E.s or any incarnation of past
Kinkeshi. They smell like a new vinyl blow up ball coming out of the
package or a pool liner. They come in either Flesh, Yellow, Blue, Red,
Gold, Silver (variant color) or Full Color. Yellow, blue, red and
flesh are solid color plastic. Gold, silver and full color are
painted. They also come with one playing card, randomly inserted. So
far I have seen Mantaro, Robin Mask, Kinnikuman Suguru and Terry the
Kid. Here is the card back:
 The
back of the package has 39 characters on it, however even though there
are 60 different figures in Series 1-4, there are only 25 different
characters from the card back used. There are a couple of exceptions.
The Gen X version of Jade/Jaeger is used, but it could very well be
any of the 4 Gen X fighters, as they all looked the same before
revealing their identities. Also, Scar Face/Eskara is used in his
gangster outfit, but the back of the packaging shows his true form.

Out of the 3 complete series 1-4 sets I bought, I only got one of each
silver and 2 of their flesh counterparts. That would suggest a 1-3
seed, but as I only got 3 sets (one for me, one for my son and one for
my daughter) this isn't vary accurate. We'll have to wait and see how
they are actually seeded.
Errata:
As far as I can tell, this IS all 60. No more colors or variants. So
in actuality, $20 gets you the whole set, minus the other 4
flesh/silver variants that you will have to come up with.
I am SO looking forward to Series 5-8. Hopefully they come out within
a couple of months.
