G2 Ultimate Muscle CCG

Basics:

Each pack comes with 1 mini PVC figure, 10 cards in a foil package and a fold up game board/instructions. There are 60 cards, randomly inserted. There are 20 different PVC figures which consist of 10 different sculpts, in translucent red and blue. So far we have found 5 different game boards but there may be more.

Instructions/Game Map:

Printed on the back of the fold up game boards, are the only instructions that come with the game, which, in my opinion, leave alot to be desired. If you have never played a CCG before, then I suggest you study up before playing the Ultimate Muscle CCG, as the instructions are ever so vague. TheOrgg from the AKIA Boards has rewritten the rules for easier game play, you can find them HERE

Here is a scan of one of the different game boards available"

Mini PVC Figures:

There are the same size as the PVC figures in the new 15 packs, but are different sculpts. There are 20 total. 10 figures in a translucent (clear) red and the same 10 in translucent blue. Here are the figures below:

Apollo (Mercury) Brocken Jr. Curry Cook Gorgeous Man Kevin Mask
Kinniku Mantaro

(Kid Mucscle)

Kinniku Mantaro

(Kid Mucscle)

Namul Sieuchin

(Wally Tusket)

Sunshine

Cards:

There are 60 cards which break into 3 categories:

1-20: Super Wrestlers. These are your champions with which you do battle. They are the only cards which are 2 sided. The front, which I have scanned in below, consists of the stats for your fully rested fighter. The back contains similar, but weaker stats. When your fighter has taken some damage, you flip the card and revert to the lower stats.

21-50: Technique Cards. These are used to aid your fighter in battle when you are pummeling your opponent. They depict various moves and techniques used by the various wrestlers, and some can only be performed by certain fighters.

51-60: Assist Cards. These cards are used to aid or recover your fighter before, during and after each bout.

Foil Cards: Certain cards sparsely seeded into each case of packages. These come in 2 varieties. Foil face and foil lettering. These cards are harder to come by than the regular cards and can be seeded in a case as low as 1/8th the amount of any non-foil card. For instance, out of 240 cards (1 case-24 packs) you can expect to get 10 or so foil cards. As far as I can tell, certain card numbers are foil and others are not, and this is consistent. In plain English, all #1 cards will be foil, while all #5 cards will be regular, with no variations. However, this has not been confirmed 100% yet.

  Known Variants:

On the cards with foil lettering, there has been confirmed reports of red or blue foil variants. First report has the red foil cards coming from the Terry the Kid packs, while the blue cards are from the Kinnikuman Suguru (King Muscle) packs. It has not been confirmed whether or not they are exclusive to those packs or not. Terry the Kid packs have been sighted at Wal-Mart, with the Suguru packs being spotted at Target. Suguru packs have also recently been verified at Wal-Mart as well. So far, no one has seen the Kinniku Mantaro (Kid Muscle) packs yet.

Update!

There has also been sightings of Green foil lettered cards. See the UM-014 above for an example!

Toy Insert Super Wrestler CCG Cards

Below are the 8 cards that come randomly inserted into the 1.5" PVC and 6.5" action figures. These are numbered KM-001 to KM-008, instead of the UM-001 to UM-060 that the regular CCG's are marked with.

Errata:

The cards are packed totally randomly, so buying a case is no assurance that you will get an entire set of the 60 cards. However, buying a case will guarantee that you get all 20 different PVC figures, as they are packed that way, with 4 randomly added figures.

Any thoughts or questions about these cards can be answered HERE on the AKIA Boards
