Episode 41 05/17/03

Kinniku Mantaro is back on Muscle Planet, enjoying the adoration of his fans, while he meanders aimlessly down the street on a parade float. It figures that his float is in the shape of a giant rice bowl. Meanwhile, back at the Seigi Chojins Headquarters (Muscle HQ), Harabote Muscle (Vance McMadd) is steaming at all the media coverage that Mantaro is getting. Sitting there in his panda pajamas, he has finally had it, and tosses his food at the screen of his TV. Suddenly, the power goes out and all is dark. His son Ikemen (pronounce "ich-EE-mon") tells him that the power bill hasn't been paid, and that he should retire. He is the head of the Seigi Chojins (Muscle League) and he can't even afford to pay his electric bill. Ikemen has a plan to raise some cash, but it would entail Harabote retiring and turning over the reigns to him! Back on Muscle Planet, Mantaro is putting his new lantern to good use. He is using it to pick up chicks. Meat find him and berates him for using the lantern for childish reasons, but just then there is a breaking news report of Harabote Muscle's retirement head of the Seiji Chojin Council (Muscle League). He explains that it has been an honor to serve as chairman, but that it is time to retire.

Mantaro and the guys celebrate and start popping those confetti bombs! They are jazzed that Harabote, and all his strictness are now retired. The next guy has to be more lenient. To their surprise, Harabote pegs Ikemen to replace him, and immediately he begins to tells about his first act as the new chairman. He is reinstating the Chojin Crown Tournament. And vainly he renames it after himself, calling it the "Ikemen Chojin Crown". He tells all the wrestlers to travel back to their home countries to compete in the preliminaries. Mantaro wonders what the prize will be, and when he finds out that it won't be cash, but rather a title and crown, as you already guessed, doesn't want to wrestle, but Terry, Checkmate, Gazelleman and Sieuchin leave him to go prepare for the preliminaries. Meat tries to educate Mantaro on the importance and history of the Chojin Crown competition, but Mantaro is too involved in picking up chicks to notice. "Wanna light my lantern?" he is saying as Meat screams at him. Meat tries to talk him into fighting, but Mantaro says it is not necessary. His dad, Kinnikuman Suguru (King Muscle) had already won twice, more than enough for any family, he exclaims. Meat falls to his knees in desperation, as Mantaro files off to find some Gyuudon (rice bowl). Tournament day arrives, and the preliminary matches are broadcast all around the world!

We see various wrestlers fighting in the preliminary match-ups, trying to garner a spot in the tournament. From South America, to Russia, and finally to England, where we catch a glimpse of Kevin Mask unloading the Big Ben bash on his opponent, to secure his spot as England's champion in the tournament. Meanwhile, Mantaro is busy playing video games and out of habit, looks around for the guys to show them his high score, but then remembers that they are all off fighting in the contest. Mantaro decides to take a stroll, but down the street, on a TV, he sees Sieuchin making his opponent give in, securing his spot as Ireland's champ. Cut to Terry the Kid in the USA where the crowd is going crazy, cheering him on, chanting "Terry, Terry". Mantaro is a little distraught that the cheers aren't for him. He wonders if a million cheers are worth more than a million dollars. Maybe that is a reason to wrestle. Time for the Japanese preliminaries. Mantaro strolls by the stadium and sees everyone holding newspapers, many with headlines reading, "Mantaro is a Chicken", or "Terry the Kid, abducted by Aliens!". On screen in the plaza, he sees Jade (Jaeger) winning his match, becoming Germany's champion! Rinko (Roxanne) is there with her mother Mari (Marie) and they are cheering on Jade. Mantaro is jealous, and hides in the bushes to eavesdrop on their conversation. Rinko explains how attractive it is for a man to wrestle and compete for honor and a championship.

Mantaro is starting to catch on. Rinko and Mari agree that girls just can't resist a man who will wrestle for glory and honor, and a championship belt just drives them wild! Over the televisions in the plaza, it is announce that they are at the final match up, to secure the last spot in the tournament. Mantaro rushes off to compete to save himself in Rinko's eyes. After he bolts, the girls start to giggle hysterically. It was a set up arranged by Meat, who comes out of hiding. The ladies wonder how Mantaro will be able to compete, as the 2 slots are already filled, but Meat talks about the "Wind of Miracles" that is always present in the Kinnikuman family. In the arena, Nomuraman (El Nino) is warming up in the ring. Mantaro goes ringside, but Ikemen won't let him compete. He didn't register, and now there is no more room in the preliminaries for him. One of Ikemen's lackeys explains that there is room. Nomuraman's challenger was mysterious injured by falling driftwood, and can't compete. What about the 3rd and 4th place competitors, he asks. But they too, were struck by the mysterious driftwood. Nomuraman (El Nino) says that it is ok. He wants to wrestle Mantaro. It would be an honor for him. Ikemen is adamant, he WILL NOT let Mantaro compete. But the crowd is pissed and starts to hurl cans, bottles and other trash at him until he relents. Mantaro enters the ring and starts to stretch, while Ikemen and Harabote take their seats, covered in garbage and food. Ikemen vows to get revenge on Mantaro for humiliating him like that.

Episode 42 05/31/03 Nomuraman (El Nino) versus Kinniku Mantaro (Kid Muscle). Both fighters are in their respective corners. Nomuraman is patiently waiting, but Mantaro is trying to focus, until he spots Rinko (Roxanne). He starts to act the fool, hamming it up for her attention, she is embarrassed, until Mantaro falls on the post and smashes his nuts. Harabote is complaining that Mantaro will make a joke of the tournament, like he always does. But Ikemen has faith that Nomura will overcome and win. In the ring, Nomura is handing out produce from a sack, tossing it to the fans. The bell is rung and they rush each other. They lock up, but Mantaro gains the advantage and tosses Nomura with a shoulder throw. Nomura lands unscathed and retaliates with a kick to Mantaro's forehead. Mantaro hits the canvas. He gets up and lands a hard sweep kick, knocking Nomuraman off his feet. Up in the stands, Nomura's five little brothers and sisters all jeer Mantaro (in the US version, they are his kids). They tell him he cannot win, since Nomura fights for a more noble cause. Mantaro is distracted and argues back. He then rushes Nomuraman with a flying kick.

Nomura blocks easily, using his forearms, and grabs Mantaro's shins under his arms. He does a reverse suplex over his shoulders and Mantaro lands hard. Nomura explains to Mantaro that he can not win, since Nomuraman is fighting for the common folks. Harabote Muscle (Vance McMadd) asks Ikemen where he got Nomura at, and Ikemen explains that he first saw him in a field, plowing by himself, with an oxen yoke, and then impressed by this, he spied on him, until he was sure he would make a great Chojin. Back to reality, Nomuraman kicks at Mantaro, but he dodges the hit and grabs his legs, reversing Nomura into a Boston Crab. Nomura won't give in, and the five kids cheer him on. Energized by the chants of his family, he uses his arms to push up and out of the Boston Crab. Reversing Mantaro into and ankle hold, he has him for a few seconds before he rolls out of it, breaking free. Mantaro is winded on the mat, but Nomura stands strong. Ikemen is overjoyed to see Mantaro in trouble. Nomura berates him for his lack of stamina. He expected more from a champion. Nomura is fast approaching in a charge. Mantaro rises up, but is stuck in one place. We see the five mini-Nomuras (his brothers and sisters) holding Mantaro's legs, so that he can't move. They are transparent, almost ghost like. But it appears that Mantaro and Nomuraman are the only ones who can see them, as the crowd wonders why Mantaro is standing still and not trying to dodge the attack coming at him.

As he approaches, Nomura spins his hat like a saw, but instead of trying to cut Mantaro up, he scoops him up and Mantaro is rolling around on the brim. Round and round he goes, until he is rolled up tightly into a ball. Once balled up, Nomura launches him into the air, then jumps to meet the Mantaro ball. From 50 feet up, he lands a giant leg drop, reminiscent of the Hulkster, and leaves Mantaro prostrate on the canvas. Nomuraman is proclaiming his victory over the sprawled out Mantaro. It is then, during his rant, that we find out that his real motive is to be famous, and on TV. Hearing this, Mantaro gets pissed off and tells Nomuraman of. It's not about cashing out for a TV spot, it's about self respect and honor. He grabs Nomura by the waist. Nomura grabs the lethargic Mantaro by his collar and pulls him to his feet. He tells Mantaro that his cause IS noble. It was his mother's dying wish for her son to be popular and have TV spots and his picture on a T-Shirt, etc. He backhands Mantaro into the corner. He begins a vicious barrage of slaps. Ikemen and Harabote are overjoyed to see Mantaro getting whooped. Nomura continues his slap action, but Mantaro explains that his cause is more noble. He is doing it for friends, family and fans. He names Ramen Man and uses a blocking technique he learned from him to halt the slaps. He tells how he is doing it for Buffaloman, and lands a hard kick to Nomura's gut, Buffaloman style! Nomura absorbs the kick and again grabs Mantaro's shins for a reverse suplex. But this time, instead of straight back, he swings him around a few times. When he goes over his shoulders, Mantaro mentions Meat, and reverses the move, grabbing his arm in a Meat version arm lock. Nomura pulls out of it, and Mantaro again explains that he is fighting for all his family, his friends and his fans.

Nomura charges Mantaro, again spinning his hat for the Straw Hat Stealth Strike, but this time Mantaro is standing still of his own accord. Nomura lifts him onto the brim and he begins to roll around like a roulette ball, but mid-roll, Mantaro reaches out with his arms and does a handstand, using his arms to slow the speed of the rotating hat, he un-balls out, launching up and torpedoing the shoulder of Nomuraman. He then launches up for an inverted Kinnikubuster, landing it with a tremendous shockwave that rocks the auditorium. Nomuraman is defeated. His brothers and sisters begin to cry. Harabote and Ikemen are incensed. Harabote begrudgingly hands Mantaro his trophy, but at the last moment won't let go, and him and Mantaro play tug of war with it. After that, Ikemen comes up to place the winners card around Mantaro's neck, and puts him in a headlock with his thighs briefly. Mantaro is pissed at them but is distracted by a fuming Nomuraman walking his way. He reaches Mantaro and strikes at him, pulling his punch before it lands and laughing as Mantaro winces. He is still happy, even though he lost. Simply because the publicity he got from wrestling the Great Kinniku-Mantaro is going to give him all the TV time and merchandising he needs. They shake hands, and Ikemen announces the next round. Mantaro stands victorious!

Episode 43 06/07/03 The next round is set in a large Olympic Stadium. All the fighters enter with their entourage, carrying flags, representing their homeland. Terry, Gazelleman, Sieuchin, Kevin and Checkmate all arrive. Mantaro is last, since he is the wild card winner. Rinko and the girls are cringing to think of what he might arrive in, remembering all the horrible costumes he has worn in the past. Mantaro is announced and he enters waving the flag of Kinniku-Planet and wearing....a tank top and boxers?! He is jeered and the fans start tossing their garbage at him. he explains that he overslept and didn't have time to get dressed. But in the next frame, as Ikemen gives the opening speech, Mantaro is in his jumpsuit. Ikemen raves about himself for a few minutes and then closes as he holds up the Championship Belt! Mantaro thinks to himself that he needs to win this tournament, so he can put the belt back on the mantle at home.

The first challenge is announced, and a substitute entry is announced. It is Kani Besu (Buster Crab). As old as he is, he is still pretty fit. Ikemen announces that the first challenge will be "Rock Paper Scissors" and then "Ha, Made You Look!". Mantaro's challenger is Kani Besu. There is some explanation of Kani Besu's origin in the first and second Chojin Olympics. How he faced Suguru in the first Olympics and had only pincers, so he was forced to choose scissors. He lost to Suguru's Rock. He then came back around in the second Chojin Olympics, after having his hands operated on to give him five fingers, instead of pincers. That time though, he chose paper and Suguru chose scissors. He then was ridiculed for losing to Suguru twice and went into hiding. Ikemen found him and urged him to return to battle Mantaro. The round starts and Mantaro chooses Rock, Kani wins with Paper. The Kani seems to win at "Made you look" but Mantaro says he looked the other way, and cannot be fooled. Rock Paper Scissors again, and Mantaro wins this time with scissors to Kani's paper again. He then pulls a turd from somewhere (a stinkbug in the US version) and shows it to Kani Besu. He fallaciously tells Kani that a bigger one is over there. Kani looks and Mantaro wins! Mantaro runs around happy to win and everyone avoids him, for the crap on his hand.

First round winners are announced and all the guys win, except for Gazelleman (Dik Dik van Dik). He is huddled, knees to his chest, crying that he lost out. Mantaro puts his hand on his shoulder to console him, but Gazelleman smells something funny. Mantaro removes his hand and notices that the poop is still there. Ikemen announces a change of turf for the second round. The ground becomes a beach with ocean water and all. Terry asks Mantaro if he is ready for the swimming competition and Mantaro pulls out his satchel and is ready to quit, as he can't swim very well. Checkmate catches up to him and explains that there is no swim competition and Mantaro returns. Ikemen announces that the next round will be "Beach Flags". First person to get to the goal will win. There is a twist though. The ground shakes as a 40 yard dash runways appears. Three lanes and at the finish line there is a large white bean bag. Up from beneath the finish, a giant stone demon head comes from under the sand and hovers above the goal. There is a damsel in distress hanging from the open mouth of the demon head. Ikemen explains that the three contestants will have to race from the finish line and save the falling damsel before she hits the bean bag. She will drop as soon as the starting gun is fired. First up is a cyborg cyclops in army fatigues, Sieuchin (Wally Tusket) and the airplane guy from Russia.

Starting gun is fired and the airplane guy is ahead. Sieuchin and the cyborg run for position, but the cyborg whack Sieuchin, sending him reeling. He catches up to the airplane guy and hits him too, sending him falling. The airplane guy transforms to a jet and speed up. The cyborg launches a cannonball at the Russian, but it is sliced in half by the jet wings, as is the cyborg a second later. The Russian airplane rushed to the finish, saving the damsel, thus winning and disqualifying Sieuchin. Next up is a banana man, a sushi bar man and Mantaro. The damsel this time is a fat sumo wrestler. The starting gun sounds and they are off. The banana is in the lead, followed by Mantaro and the sushi guy. The sushi guy hurls a seaweed and rice wrap at Mantaro, turning him into a huge California Roll. He runs ahead of Mantaro and gains on the banana, but the banana man drops a peel, sending sushi man into a tizzy. Mantaro is hoping furiously in the roll, to try to catch the banana, but as he gains he slips on the peel. This is to his benefit though, as he is launched head first at the banana man passing him up just before the finish line and slipping free of the wrap, in order to catch the fat sumo guy, before he hits the bean bag. Checkmate and Kevin advance in their respective heats, also. The last heat is announced for Round 2. It is Terry the Kid, Jade and another nameless wrestler. Only one can advance...who will it be?!

Episode 44 06/21/03 Terry the Kid vs. Jade vs. Bandolis(?). Terry and Jade are wishing each other luck, and Bandolis complains that it is a THREE man race, not two. Off to the side, Jade gets advice from Brocken and Bandolis from his trainer, but Terry has no one. He glance around and thinks he sees his dad, Terry Man, but looks again and sees nothing. He says he must be imagining things, since his dad was never around when he was a kid, as he was always off wrestling along side of Kinnikuman Suguru. He never made time before, why would he now? Off to a quick start, Terry and Jade are far ahead of Bandolis, who kicks his heels into the sand, causing it to send steams up past Terry and Jade, and forming a sand pillar in front of them, knocking them down. Bandolis passes them. They gain and Bandolis tries to do a split kick to the two gaining on him, but they dodge his kicks and return with reverse spin kicks of their own. Bandolis is double whacked and is out. Terry and Jade are neck and neck when Terry hears cries for help from a mother who's young child has wandered to far into the water. Terry the Kid, who is ahead by a foot or two now, has a dilemma. There seems to be no one else that hears the kid, as they are intently fixed on the race. He can continue and win the race, and if he continues on to win the Chojin Crown, his dad will be proud of him, like he was Suguru, but then the kid will drown. Terry chooses the kid and detours to the sea. Nakano San (Doc Nakano) is curious as to why Terry is choosing now for a swim. Jade wins, saving the damsel, while Terry the Kid saves the drowning boy. Mantaro and the rest of the spectators see why Terry detoured, and recognize him as a true hero. Jade notices him too, and rushes to greet Terry, but depressed, he shrugs him off. Walking alone down the exit corridor, he wonder why if he did the right thing, why he feels bummed out. He's glad that his dad wasn't there to see him lose, but around the corner in the hall, Terry Man leans against the wall. Terry man tells his son that he saw what he did, in choosing to save that kid, and in his book, that makes him the real winner. Terry Sr. puts his arm around Terry Jr. and his son starts to get teary-eyed. They walk off together, down the corridor.

As the show returns, we find our heroes just minutes away from the third and final round. This is the last round before the finals. Ikemen announces that it will be a third leg race. The top twelve teams will move on, while the rest are out. There is a twist. Each Chojin is matched up with a non-Chojin. Mantaro is paired off with a fat sumo guy names Sasaki. He complains, but Ikemen says that he picked hi partner by randomly drawing his name out of a hat (but thinks to himself that there were only two names in the hat - insert maniacal laughter here). The other teams are shown. Jade is paired off with Rinko, and Mantaro is INCENSED! Comrade Turbinski (the airplane guy from Russia) is paired with Meat. Rinko's friends, Trixie and Kiki are paired off with Chojins also. The shot rings out and the contestants begin. As they race along the track Mantaro and Sasaki falls down numerous times. Ikemen and Harabote rejoice in their cunning. The teams all come to a dead stop. In front of them, the road rises steeply, almost straight up. They will have to somehow get over this giant incline. It is here that Meat notices that Kevin Mask's partner doesn't look like an ordinary person, but more like a Chojin. The first team tries to scale the rise, but about 3/4 the way up, tires and falls, bouncing off the pavement and landing in the sea. Meat tells Turbinski that they should go somewhat sideways up the wall, giving them a longer route, but an easier run. They zigzag up the incline and they succeed! Others, encouraged, proceed to attempt the climb. Mantaro and Sasaki are dead last.

Mantaro is running, but when he sees the wall and the teams laying prostrate on the ground who have failed, he thinks it hopeless. Sasaki tells him to hold on tight, and leaps to the center of the incline. As Sasaki lands mid wall, Mantaro falls, but is suspended by the ankle strap. Sasaki explains that his sweat is really stick and he can adhere to any surface that way. Sasaki slithers the rest of the way up, like a snail, with Mantaro in tow! At the top, the contestant are require to cross a spinning poll, spanning the distance. Kevin Mask and his partner run sideways, running against the spin, and make it across safely. Jade and Rinko do hand-flips across. The rest of the competitors are pounding each other, jockeying for position, while Mantaro and Sasaki slither across the pole. After crossing the log, they start to catch up to Checkmate, who is hindered by his fatigued partner. He tells Checkmate that he is sorry for slowing him down, but he is honored to race with him as he is Checkmate's biggest fan. Ahead, Dispenser Man, seeing the teams approaching, releases what look to be hundreds of half blue / half white gumballs on to the track. causing everyone to fall down. This doesn't phase Checkmate, who morphs into the Knight (horse) and dodges the incoming balls. Dispenser sees this and launches a few aerially. Checkmate dodges these with ease, but his partner is hit hard. Checkmate decides to get his partner help, instead of proceeding on and possibly injuring his fan more. He breaks the leg strap, forfeiting his chance to win, and carries hi partner off. Dispenser Man proclaims that nice guys really DO finish last. This pisses off Mantaro, who, with Sasaki, launches towards Dispenser Man, body surfing over the tops of the balls.

He whacks Dispenser Man with such force that he crashes to the ground. He then goes back to see about Checkmate and his partner, but Checkmate tells him to hurry on and win a spot in the finals. Mantaro and Sasaki devise a new plane, the stand atop the dispensed balls and rolls on. Kevin and his partner are in the lead, Turbinski and Meat second. Jade and Rinko finish third, and Rinko is noticeably fatigued. The remaining teams cross the line, until there is one spot left. The next group of runners approaches, but Mantaro is no where to be seen. It appears that he will not progress. Ikemen and Harabote are overjoyed, until they see Mantaro and Sasaki rolling along. As they roll between the front two teams, the other teams kick the balls out from under Mantaro and Sasaki, launching the balls towards the goal, and Mantaro and partner into the air. Bad move. The balls ricochet off the finish line polls and knock out the other two teams, as Mantaro and Sasaki land on their heads across the finish line, thus securing the twelfth slot!

Episode 45 06/28/03 This episode starts in a giant carnival setting at night time. The celebration is for the extra jewel that Ikemen is adding to the Chojin Crown. Milling around a catered table, Mantaro, Sieuchin, Gazelleman, Terry the Kid and Meat converse. Mantaro is teased for eating all the time, but the guys come to his defense. Jade approaches and tells Mantaro that he hopes they can meet up in the finals, and Kevin Mask is quick to follow suit. Mantaro is confident and Meat is impressed, but in Mantaro's head, he is thinking how scared he is. He gives in to his fears and starts to leave, but Meat stops him. Meanwhile Rinko is fawning over Jade, having delusions of a simple life in Germany. Mantaro notices and gets jealous. He makes sweetheart and fiancé remarks to Rinko. Rinko gets pissed beats him up for embarrassing her in front of Jade. Up on stage, Ikemen and Harabote are announcing the lottery pairings for the next round. They scheme to get a Jade/Kevin Mask final, as that will bring in the largest dollar amount. Mantaro shows up and the crowd scatters. Ikemen and Harabote exclaim that if Mantaro wins, the ratings will be poor, and so will they. The lights suddenly go out, and Kinniku Mantaro appears riding a motorcycle. Actually SIX Mantaro's appear on a motorcycle. They are in gray outfits instead of blue and green, and their insignia is a "D" rather than the "KN" symbol.

There is confusion about the Mantaro clones. Ikemen wants to disqualify everyone. He tries to bounce one of the clones and gets a butt breaker landed on him. He is then tossed off the stage by the clone who swings him around then let's him fly. There is banter among the guys and they break out with the cow song. Mantaro get the first and last verse, while Sieuchin gets no. 2 and Meat sings the third line. Mantaro takes up some Gyuudon (rice bowl) and offers it to the first guy, who promptly slaps it out of his hand. They explain that they are there to settle an old score with Suguru, by beating Mantaro. This being said, they race off on their bikes to capture Rinko (Rochelle) Trixie and Kiki, and take them hostages to guarantee the match the next day. They call themselves the Poison 6 Pack (American name) and the stage where they are standing ruptures from the ground to reveal a meteor looking space craft, formed in the shape of a jester head. The ship launches away, as the bad guys remind the Chojins of their match tomorrow.

There is a makeshift stadium set up in the forest and the ring is places on a large tree stump. the Poison 6 Pack explain that there will be one tag team match for each girls freedom. The first match will be between Terry the Kid and Jade vs. the Protector (a giant robot) and Dazzling ( an Egyptian looking shaman). This will be for the freedom of Trixie. Terry Man and Brocken Jr. are ringside to coach the two, who have no tag team experience as of yet. The match starts and it is Terry the Kid vs. the Protector. Terry is bouncing all over the ring, dodging the robots blows and landing his own. He jumps on his head and tap dances on his head, until the Protector is prone on the mat, while Terry the Kid continues to stomp on his helmet. Seeing this, the Shaman comes in illegally with no tag. He launches a glowing fist at Terry the Kid, who easily dodges it. He reciprocates with one of his own, knocking Dazzling to the mat. But as he was distracted, the Protector manages to grab Terry the Kid by his legs and slams him down hard on to the canvas. He tosses him around like a rag doll, while Jade alls for a tag. Terry is down on the mat when the protector goes for a huge stomp.

He manages a leg drop instead of a stomp (consider that his leg is about as thick as half of Terry's height). He then throws a vicious palm on to Terry's upper half, smashing him into the canvas some more. Dazzling convinces the Protector to switch, and Terry takes the Opportunity to tag out. But before he makes the tag, Dazzling comes in a taunts Terry the Kid, saying that his family has always been second rate. Terry the Kid, against the advice of His father, Terry man, and against the pleas of Jade to tag out, remains in the ring. He charges Dazzling and grabs his waist for a take down, but Dazzling double chops his shoulders, sending him down. He grabs Terry the Kids arm and slams his whole torso into the canvas with a viciousness. Jade and Terry man plea with Terry the Kid to tag out, but he refuses. He launches up, grabbing Dazzling by the horns, as he did to Buffaloman, and slams his face into the canvas. Dazzling is down, and Terry the Kid looks down at him. Bt as Dazzling turns over a but, Terry the Kid notices Dazzling's shoulder pad which looks alot like an eye. Using it to hypnotize Terry the Kid, Dazzling gets up. Terry the Kid is now convinced he is in a dark forest being tied down with roots. So convinced that he doesn't realize that Dazzling is hailing a barrage of punches at his face. Terry man goes to the edge of the ring and realizes that the shaman has his son under a spell. Jade says enough and charges the pair, but the Protector comes in with a nasty side drop kick, knocking Jade onto the hard stump out of the ring, where he begins to pummel him.
The girls begin to lose hope, as Terry the Kid is effortlessly getting pummeled by Dazzling and outside the ring, the Protector is making pressed grapes out of Jade.

Episode 46 09/06/03 Inside the ring, Terry the Kid is being pummeled by Dazz-Ling, while Jade (Jaeger) is being stomped outside by the Protector. Meanwhile, up in the sky, Rinko (Roxanne) and Keiko (Kiki) who are behind bars, encourage the very frightened Tamaki (Trixie) who is in the glass prison, awaiting her fate. Terry Man mentions something about situation that Terry the Kid is in stinking, and it gives Mantaro (Kid Muscle) an idea. Cut to Terry the Kid in his hallucination of being tangled up in the forest by roots. He sees a turd (stinkbug) coming at him from the distance. It keeps saying, "Step on me, smell me, kiss me, etc." By trying to avoid it, he breaks free of the imaginary roots, and when the turd lands on his hand and asks for a kiss, he snaps out of Dazz-Ling's hypnosis. He comes too and thinks it was all a dream, until he notices the stinkbug again coming at him, and sees that Mantaro has it attached to the end of a fishing line, guiding it towards him. Mantaro reels it in, but once it reaches the tip of the poll, it hops down and goes after him. Terry slaps himself to wake up completely and Nakano San (Doc Nakano) and Yoshigai San (Mac Metaphor) are going through their usual banter when the turd flies right at them, causing them to fall over backwards. Terry taunts Dazz-ling, but his dad (who is sitting with Brocken Jr.) yells at him to recognize the fact that he is in a tag team. Team work, he stresses. Dazz-ling taunts Terry the Kid to make him lose his composure and rush him. It appears to work, as Terry the Kid rushes at Dazz-ling, but at the last second, bypasses him, leaping out of the ring and landing a hard shoulder to the back of the Protector, thus freeing Jade from the endless stomp attack. He tags in Jade and Jade climbs in the ring. While he and Dazz-ling size each other up, Jade takes to the top turnbuckle, executing a leap, culminating with a vicious side thigh kick to Dazz-ling's face. Dazz-ling reels in pain, grasping at his face and Jade powers up the Baron's Red Rain (Red Rain of Pain). Dazz-ling does likewise with his "shocking Shaman" and they charge each other. Jade attack is the stronger and when he lands it on Dazz-ling's powered up forearm, Dazz-ling hops in pain back to his corner. Once there, he tags in the Protector, who comes in to a barrage of Jade's Red Rain attack to his chest. The Protector seems oblivious to the attack and leaps into the air for an attack on Jade.

Kicking Jade square in the chest, he sends him reeling. Jade is stumbling across the ring to tag out, when the Protector attempts to land a flying elbow drop. Jade, who was feigning injury, dodges effortlessly while the Protector misses his target and comes crashing down. He tags in Terry, who leaps from the top, landing in between the shoulder blades of the Protector for his families "calf branding" move. Riding him to the ground, Terry gets help from Jade, and they leap into the air, each holding one of the Protectors arms, and send him crashing to the canvas, head first. Terry Man and Brocken continue to discuss their protégés. Terry the Kid and Jade are doubling up on the Protector with leg submission holds, when Dazz-ling comes into the ring, Terry leaves Jade to deal with the giant robot and charges for the Jamaican Shaman. As they charge, Terry slides underneath Dazz-ling, tripping him and then grabs his legs, swinging him around and around releasing him with great velocity into the corner post. As Dazz-ling attempts to get his bearings, Terry comes from behind him in a classic Russian leg sweep, slamming the shaman to the canvas. He then applies the Texas Clover Hold. Tamaki (Trixie) yells to Terry to pack on the punishment and we cut to Jade, who is smashing the Protectors face into the mat. He launches with him and comes down next to Terry and Dazz-ling, his knee driving the face of the Protector staunchly into the canvas. The girls cheer on Terry and Jade but the rejoicing is short lived as the Protector regains the momentum in the match and knocks Jade into the turnbuckle with a hard punch, following it through with a hard stomp to the shoulder, smashing him down. Dazz-ling taunts Terry to get his attention, but Mantaro yells to beware of the hypnotic eye on his shoulder armor. Terry starts to fall under, but gets an idea. He calls to Jade, who is still getting the full press from the Protector, to "Let them see eye to eye". Jade takes the cue and using his Red Rain, severs a ring rope, using it to trip the Protector. As the Protector falls, Terry the Kid manages to re-route the beam from Dazz-ling's shoulder to the eye of the giant robot. The Protector now thinks he is in a gloomy forest somewhere. Jade goes to work with the Baron's Red Rain. Dazz-ling tells him that the attack will not get past the robot's armor, but Jade has other plans. He sends a nasty uppercut to the unprotected neck of the Protector and then follows up attacking at all the un-armored leg and arm joints. The Protector starts to go down and Jade gives him a solid kick, flinging him into a corner post, which gives way and the robot tumbles to the ground. As the Protector lies dormant outside the ring, Dazz-ling, who is still in the clover hold, starts scratching at the canvas, making a hole into which himself and Terry fall in. Jade runs to the rescue, but falls into the hole also. On the way down into the pit, they all manage to grab a hold of the roots at the side of the cavern. Dazz-ling stomps Terry's hand, causing the branch to break and Terry falls down.

It's Jade to the rescue, as he manages to grab hold of Terry's hands. He is suspending himself upside down, like a trapeze artist, and swings Terry up to dislodge Dazz-ling. There is enough velocity to send them both into the air, where Terry grapples with the shaman, locking him into the Calf Branding move. Terry lands Dazzling face first into the canvas with such a force, that the shaman is knocked clean out. Terry pulls Jade up from the hole as Tamaki falls from the flying head. Mantaro runs to the rescue, but misses her. Not to fear though as Terry the Kid catches her safely in his arms. The next two from the Poison Six Pack call out Sieuchin (Wally Tusket) and Gazelleman (Dik Dik van Dik) to fight next, They say that Gazelleman is funny and they go through a whole routing while he tries to dispute his comedic attributes. The next venue is set for a lake at the base of Mt. Fuji and the 4 remaining bad guys speed off. Gazelleman is still disputing his funniness while Checkmate chases him asking for a comedy routine. At a cliff overlooking the lake, the Seigi Chojins (Muscle League) are wondering where the ring is at. Suddenly the water below begins to bubble and Mantaro makes a lame reference to farts in the bathtub and running water making him go pee. Everyone is grossed out. They watch the point in the water and see a huge stone frog rise up. The mouth opens and a tongue extends to showcase a ring with the 2 challengers standing in it. They hurl insults while the camera pans to show the stone head flying into view. This time, only Rinko (Roxanne) is behind bars, as Keiko (Kiki) is now the one up for grabs in the glass bubble. Gazelle and Sieuchin pledge to rescue her by winning the match. The two baddies unmask to reveal Mr. French (a humanoid frog) and Messieurs Cheeks (a man with a butt for a head).

Episode 47 09/13/03 From the lake, two large lighting arrays rise up, illuminating the night match. Nakano San (Doc Nakano) lifts his toupee, blinding everyone with the reflection off his head. In the ring it is Gazelleman (Dik Dik van Dik) squaring off against Messieurs Cheeks, a.k.a. "butt-face". They engage in some mild banter while Nakano San talks about Gazelleman never having won an actual match. Mantaro busts out laughing because Cheeks is a butt, literally, and the rest of the crew realize this as well. Cheeks tells Gazelleman to watch out for his head butt and Sieuchin's little sister asks her mom how Cheeks sits on the toilet. Everyone busts out laughing at Cheeks being made the "butt" of their jokes. Gazelleman rushes Cheeks and attempts a sweeping kick, but Cheeks dodges and releases a gas attack.

Enveloped in a cloud of farts, Gazelleman chokes. The stench reaches all the way to the outcropping where everyone else is at, and they all reel from the stench. Sieuchin's sister tells her mom that she remembers her doing that, and her mom makes a comment and let's one rip, blowing away everyone nearby. In the ring Gazelleman asks Cheeks about his pooper scooper (a sandbox, pail and shovel is shown) while the butt-faced fighter grabs him at the waist. Cheeks launches up with Gazelleman and lands him in a nasty pile driver. Gazelleman crumbles to the ground in a heap. Mantaro chimes in with an idea and powers up. Checkmate wonders if it is the power of Ultimate Muscle, but Mantaro lets one fly and they realize it is only the power of ultimate odor. Just then Meat rips through the screen to apologize to those viewers who might be eating and just lost their appetite. In the ring, Cheeks is un-affected by the stench. Cheeks goes into a tirade about being discriminated because of his looks ever since he was a child. He then confronts Gazelleman about never winning a match, and is happy that his mind tricks are working on him. As Gazelleman cowers, Sieuchin tries to encourage him from outside the ropes. Mantaro then breaks into his cow song. Meat berates him for dumping on Gazelleman while everyone else shouts their encouragement to their team mate. Mr. French goes into a lesson on Cheeks' mind games which will no doubt cloud Gazelleman's judgment, costing him the match. Gazelleman rushes Cheeks, antler claw at the ready, but Cheeks morphs his hands into an extra set of feet and flips out of the way, coming down to land all four feet squarely on the face of Gazelleman. Gazelleman collapses as Sieuchin calls for the tag.

Gazelleman rises to attempt a tag, but changes his mind mid sentence. Cheeks praises him for his bravery (stupidity) and jumps on him, pinning him in a Tibetan scissor lock. Legs err arms, and face to face, err butt, Cheeks has Gazelleman pinned down by the neck. Cheeks let's out a gas attack, right in the face of Gazelleman who is inundated with the stench. Dorothy (Sieuchin's sister) asks her mom if Gazelleman is going to lose to the butt, and her mom scolds her about her language. She threatens her with a spanking, which gives Mantaro another idea. Mantaro calls out to Gazelleman and then proceeds to moon him, slapping his own butt. Gazelleman gets the hint and turns, smacking Cheeks in the face, err butt, causing Cheeks to scurry off in fear. Cheeks is huddled in the corner, petrified. Gazelleman taunts Cheeks, who flees in terror, but Gazelleman catches up to him, mounting him and giving him the spanking of his life.

Crawling around the ring at high speeds, Gazelleman rides him right into the corner post, sending them both flying. Luckily Gazelleman flies into Sieuchin's corner, so he can tag out, but they miss on the first tag attempt. Coming up short, Sieuchin extends his leg and foot for the tag, but Gazelleman is repulsed, so he re-extends his hand, making the tag. With Sieuchin in the ring and ready to rumble, Dorothy and his mom start a cheerleader routine. While doing their dance, Sieuchin's mom floats another air biscuit to the chagrin of the crowd behind her, who all collapse quickly. In the ring, Cheeks is till smarting from the spanking and the collision with the corner post. Morphing his second set of feet back to hands, he rubs his face, err butt. Mr. French calls out for the tag, but as he turns to go, Sieuchin ricochets off the ropes and sends Cheeks crashing to the canvas. Cheeks, sensing that Sieuchin is too strong to defeat by wrestling, utilizes the same psychological tactics that he used on Gazelleman. He berates Sieuchin for having a worse record than Gazelleman and says he is worse than him. This doesn't phase Sieuchin, as he mentions that from each of his losses, Mantaro gained knowledge that allowed him to defeat the same opponents in the next go round. Cheeks is baffled. He launches a gas attack (called an "air croissant" in the US version) but Sieuchin dodges, coming up behind Cheeks and grabbing his midsection for a reverse suplex. Cheeks morphs his hands to feet and lands them solidly, avoiding the hit. Face to face, err butt again, Cheeks launches a gas cannon at Sieuchin, sending him over the edge of the ring and into the water far below. Everyone is worried about Sieuchin getting back in time, before he is counted out, but Mantaro reminds them that he IS a walrus. Breaking the surface on his way back up, Sieuchin is greeted by a green ooze coming down from the platform, that was released when French opened a panel on the corner post and pushed the red button. The ooze quickly coats and bogs down Sieuchin. Supposedly, the ooze is very viscous frog spit, saved up by Mr. French himself. Fighting a losing battle, Sieuchin begins to sink to the depths below, as everyone watches in horror.

Episode 48 09/20/03 Sieuchin (Wally Tusket) is floundering in the sludge, while the clock is ticking down. His friends shout support to him, but to no avail, until his mom reminds him of a time in his childhood where he overcame the obstacle of swimming in icy waters. She reminds him to relax and take his time. Be confident. One stroke at a time. The clock hits 15 and he starts to make headway, launching from the water and landing in the ring on the count of 19. He charges Mr. French, who stops him in his tracks with a tongue smack attack. Gaining his senses, he grabs French's tongue and swings him around, launching him into the nostril of the stone frog head above. While he is stuck in the nostril he overhears Sieuchin thanking his mother for always being there for him, and Mr. French gets and idea. He shoots out from the nostril and goes for the tongue attack again, this time, Sieuchin ducks, as Mr. French expects, and his tongue shoots past the walrus, and grapples Sieuchin's mom and sister and drags them into the green sludge. Gazelleman (Dik Dik van Dik) calls to Sieuchin to tag out, so he can go save them, but when he tries, French plants a webbed hand on his face, blocking him. From the cliff, Terry the Kid tosses out a lasso to the floundering pair, but it's too short. Sieuchin's mom is trying to stay afloat, with Dorothy on her back, but she is failing fast. Sieuchin is still trying to remove the webbed hand from his face to go and rescue them, but his mom says to forget about them, this match is too important.

Dorothy (Sieuchin's little sister) calls out to Sieuchin to save them, but he is still stuck in the face wrap. In a desperate attempt, Sieuchin begins to hammer on the hand that is stuck to his face, beating fiercely until Mr. French pulls back his webbed digits in pain. A drop kick to the back of the head sends Mr. French to the mat. He peers over the edge of the ropes to see that his family has sunk below the surface. While they sink further, Gazelleman again reaches out for the tag to relieve Sieuchin, but French interrupts, telling him to go ahead and tag out. He says that himself and Cheeks will have a fun time tag teaming Gazelleman. Sieuchin falters but Gazelleman tells him to go ahead. They exchange some words and Mr. French pressures him to make his decision. His family or Keiko. Tamaki (Trixie) volunteers Mantaro (Kid Muscle) to save Sieuchin's family, but he balks. Meat boots him off the cliff into the sludge, attached to a safety rope to pull them all to safety. Seeing that Mantaro will save them, Sieuchin is encouraged and prepares to pummel French.

Dorothy and her mom sink ever further, when they see Mantaro in the distance. Just then, Mantaro runs out of breath and starts to convulse. In the ring, Sieuchin is torturing the frog with a back stretcher hold, and at the cliff, the group wonders about Mantaro. Terry starts to pull up the rope and reels in a bloated Mantaro. Sieuchin glances over his shoulder to see the water logged Mantaro being hauled up. This distraction is all that Mr. French needs, and he lands a hard kick to the forehead of the walrus, knocking him into the corner. Sieuchin asks Gazelleman if Mantaro was successful. Meanwhile back on the cliff, the water filled Mantaro erupts like a fountain and Gazelleman breaks the bad news to a crying Sieuchin. He tells Sieuchin to tag out and go. Sieuchin tags but Gazelleman grabs his arm and tosses him into the drink to save his family. At the encouragement of Keiko (Kiki), Rinko (Roxanne) and Gazelleman, he dives down to save his family, who are lying inanimately on the lakes floor. Gazelleman attacks French with a flurry of punches, knocking him back. He charges again, but is waylaid by Cheeks and a nasty forearm bash. Mid air, he is grabbed by French and landed in a nasty pile-driver. Gazelleman is losing hope fast, as is Dorothy and her mom, who are fading fast on the lake's bottom. Just then Sieuchin is there to rescue them, swimming to the top with them in his arms. In the ring however, it is a different story. Cheek has Gazelleman in an arm lock, making him fair game for the literal tongue lashing that Mr. French is laying on him. The group on the cliff watch in horror as Gazelleman is pummeled by the two. They can't interfere, or risk disqualification. Cheeks tosses Gazelleman to the ropes and begins spinning his arms in front of him like to high velocity fan blades. He fast approaches the fallen wrestler, to grind him into pieces but turns to meet a boulder that Mantaro tosses at him from the cliff above. He grinds it effortlessly and returns his attention to the spent Gazelleman.

Closing in on Gazelleman, he starts to make contact, but is stopped in his tracks by Checkmate, who catches both hands in his, halting the grinding rotation. Now in what appears to be a test of strength, he argues with Cheeks that he is allowed to help out, as he is not in any of the matches and therefore can interfere at will. He tosses Cheeks into the air, but Cheeks starts up his Windbreaker attack again (grinders). But before he reaches his prey, Checkmate transforms into his Rook mode, and Cheeks is deflected off the hard stone castle and into the ropes with considerable velocity. On the rebound, he is met with a hard kick by Checkmate and sent into orbit. Checkmate jumps up himself to meet Monsieur Cheeks and transforms again into the Knight (horse mode) to finish him off with the Pile Driver Stallion Style. He lands it with force as Cheeks spiked arm bands shatter, signaling his defeat. Mr. French flies in at Checkmate who quickly changes back to his regular self and dodges easily. He then gives Mr. French the boot, literally, to the midsection, sending him to the canvas next to the incoherent Cheeks. Checkmate walks over to Gazelleman to encourage him and jumps back to the cliff. Gazelleman turns to see Cheeks approaching and greets him with a hard fist. He then proceeds to spank him. While he beats the hell out of Cheeks, Mr. French sneaks up behind him, launching a flying attack, Gazelleman turns to see the frog cut off by a large column of the green sludge, hitting him in mid air. It turns out to be Sieuchin who turns him upside down and preps him for the Sky High Driver. He lands with a huge blast, sending light beams everywhere, and burying French up to the shoulders (upside down) in the canvas. Cheeks again comes at Gazelleman and jumps at him. Gazelleman preps the antler fist and misses, but then he tries again with the Savanna Heat, making contact, right up the middle of Cheeks, sending him to the canvas in a splayed wreck. This is his first win and everyone gets teary eyed over it. Keiko is released and Sieuchin catches her with ease. They start to celebrate but are interrupted by the last two members of the Poison Six Pack. The first one reveals himself as a behemoth in rhinoceros armor, named Sai-Borg (Jagg-ed). And the next turns out to be a skinny magician looking fellow named Baron Maximillion. Mantaro is ready to go now, but Kevin Mask urges caution, as the remaining two are more than likely the toughest of the bunch. Maximillion notes that the next match will take place inside of Mt. Fuji itself.

Episode 49 09/27/03 In the crater of Mt. Fuji, there has been a full stadium inserted. We are reminded of Rinko's (Roxanne's) fate, should Mantaro (Kid Muscle) and Kevin Mask lose the bout. The two teams square off, and the bell rings. Sai-Borg (Jagg-ed) asks Baron Maximillion if he can start first, and the Baron agrees. Now it's time to decide who will go first between Mantaro and Kevin. The tension is high, and as usual, Mantaro pisses himself. Kevin takes the initiative as Mantaro retreats to the corner, white surrender flags at the ready. Kevin and Sai-Borg grasp hands in a test of strength.

Still embattled in the test of strength, Kevin works Sai-Borg's arms into a submission bend and then attacks with a flurry of hits and kicks to the neck and side of the rhino. Sai-Borg takes the punishment and tries to return it. But when he makes his move, Kevin Mask topples him with a frankensteiner, landing him on his head. The Seigi Chojins (Muscle Leaguers) stand in awe at Kevin's techniques and wonder why he got paired with Mantaro, whom they refer to as the "lame cow". Mantaro overhears them and starts to agonize. But it turns out to be the word "cow" and he breaks into the cow song, in which he gets stomped by Terry, Meat and the others at the end. Kevin celebrates prematurely, challenging the Baron, who declines. Sai-Borg pops up and tells Kevin that his attacks had no effect on him, due to being heavily armored. Jade (Jaeger), Checkmate and Meat ensue in a conversation about armor, with Meat noting that Kevin is heavily armored also. Mantaro interjects wearing oven mitts, rubber ducky pool floaties, plungers and a garbage can. They tackle him for being stupid. Sai-Borg eggs Kevin on, who then rushes him. But the rhino has a trick up his sleeve. He spins head over heels at a dizzying pace, referred to as the Spike Cyclone, and charges at the now halted Kevin, looking to shred him to pieces. Kevin dodges multiple times, but Sai-Borg stops spinning on his last pass, landing behind Kevin, and jams a smashing kick to the nape of Kevin's skull. Kevin falls to the mat. The crowd looks on in horror, as Kevin tries to get up. But with a quickness, Sai-Borg leaps up and comes back down, using his Spike Cyclone moves to rip at the back of Kevin's prone body.

Kevin reaches in again as Sai-Borg continues to slice away at his back. After a long while, Sai-Borg jumps to his feet to savor his victory, but it is short lived, as Kevin rises slowly to his feet. The rhino is impressed, but he resumes his Cyclone and shreds every inch of Kevin. At the announcers table, Nakano San (Doc Nakano) and Yoshigai (Mac Metaphor) get into a discussion of why Sai-Borg's Cyclone is so deadly, noting that in his tucked form, it is the huge spikes on his armor, that form the edge of the Spiked Cyclone, ripping through anything in it's path. Mantaro is glad that he didn't go first, and Meat berates him, telling him to tag Kevin out. The group jeers him for being a coward, but Jade tells him to wait, Kevin seems to have it under control. Kevin takes some more punishment and falls on his knees to the mat. Sai-Borg swoops in from above but Kevin dodges with lightning fast speed. Hovering just inches above the mat, where Kevin was just seconds ago, Sai-Borg is puzzled at where Kevin went. Up in the sky, Kevin taunts the rhino, noting that he has found the weakness to the move. Just like a real cyclone, the center is the key. He flies to the ring below and lands a solid heel to the middle of the spinning Sai-Borg, who immediately ceases spinning and crumples to the canvas, grabbing at his gut violently. Kevin flips the rhino over and boots him into the air, letting him fall down and putting him into the Tower Bridge back breaker. Kevin taunts Sai-Borg telling him that his armor is useless against submission holds. Baron Maximillion agrees but tells Sai-Borg to "put his hands up". With that, Sai-Borg launches his fists off, like an old Gai-king robot, and they rocket off into the sky.

Homing in on Kevin's back, they land with enough force to cause Kevin to relinquish his hold and fall to the ground. They then each grab an arm and raise Kevin up into the air. Sai-Borg then rockets toward Kevin, skewering him with his rhino horn, and landing them both with great force, on the hard ground outside the ring. Sai-Borg gets up as the count begins. The rhino insults Kevin as he turns to re-enter the ring. But as he walks away, Kevin calls out to him and gets up. Sai-Borg turns, baffled that Kevin is still coherent. He launches his fists again to finish off the brit, but Kevin effortlessly swats them into the stadium supports, causing the fists to explode. He grabs the fistless Sai-Borg and heaves him in the direction of the ring. The count is at 17 when Kevin leaps after him. At 18 and 19, Kevin sets up the rhino for the Big Ben Bash, 20 sounds as the pair hurtle towards the mat, crashing into the canvas. Kevin arises victorious as Sai-Borg is out cold. Everyone celebrates, but Baron Maximillion calls for a confirmation of the count. It is shown that the count reached 21 before the pair touched down, thus disqualifying both Kevin Mask and Sai-Borg. Keiko (Kiki) and Tamaki (Trixie) protest, but Meat says that rules are rules. It will be Kinniku Mantaro and Baron Maximillion in the final round. Mantaro enters the ring and as he passes Kevin, Kevin tells him that victory depends on him. A battered Kevin Mask leaves the stadium as Mantaro squares off against the Baron. Mantaro looks to Rinko and vows that he will be victorious. We fade out as a swirling pink vortex appears behind the Baron, and Mantaro cowers in the distance.

Episode 50 10/04/03 Inside the crater of Mt. Fuji, Mantaro (Kid Muscle) and Baron Maximillion square off. The Baron tells Mantaro that he has been looking forward to this match, but Mantaro thinks to himself that it's going to be easy knocking off this skinny old man. Meat tells Mantaro not to get over confident, and the sentiment is echoed by Sieuchin (Wally Tusket). Mantaro is confident in his over confidence but is lectured by the waif that there is more to wrestling than sheer brawn. Mantaro laughs it off and charges the Baron, only to pass through him as Baron Maximillion fades out and back in. Mantaro trips from his momentum and hits the canvas. He attempts a spinning kick and again falls to the mat, as his leg passes clean through as Maximillion phases out and back in again. Everyone is perplexed and thinks that Mantaro is goofing around. Meat explains that Mantaro is being fooled by a trick of the Baron. Mantaro charges again for a hammer hold, but again, passes right through. A frustrated Mantaro asks for advice from his friends but is met with empty answers, until Meat realizes what is going on. He notes that the Baron is moving out of the way so fast, that he can dodge Mantaro and reposition himself so quick that he is not seen by the naked eye. Nakano San (Doc Nakano) goes into a discussion of the persistence of vision to explain it better. Mantaro charges again, but this time the Baron disappears in a flash, reappearing in the air behind Mantaro.

Diving headfirst, he nails Mantaro right in the mid-section and knocks him to the canvas. He taunts Mantaro and again dis-apperates, re-appearing in a pink flash with another head to Mantaro's gut. Again, but this time with two solid heels to Mantaro's chin. Mantaro rises, only to be hit with two feet to the chest and knocked back down. Meat yells out to Kinniku Mantaro to look for the pink flash, which precedes each hit. But no sooner than the words leave his lips, does Mantaro get nailed again, this time knocked into the ropes. Mantaro acknowledges, and manages to grab Maximillion's ankle the next time he strikes. With this, Baron Maximillion transforms from a scrawny magician looking fellow, to a glossy black armored fighter with a purple hair. He calls this Maximum Maximillion. Max grabs Mantaro by the neck and puts him into the Tower Bridge. Mantaro agonizes until the Baron tosses him to the canvas. The crown shouts their dis-approval of Mantaro and their admiration for Max. Mantaro charges him, but is stopped cold with a hard elbow to the back and then picked up and slammed head first into the canvas in a reverse pile driver. Mantaro lies dormant on the mat, as Maximum Maximillion leaps into the air, landing one of his large knee spikes directly in the center of Mantaro's back. Mantaro winces in pain as the spike is driven into his spinal area. Max gloats but is rendered speechless as Kinnikuman Suguru (King Muscle) enters the arena, walking down the aisle to the ring.

Dressed as he was during his bout with Mantaro at the Hercules Factory, he approaches ringside. He asks the black behemoth why he is tormenting Mantaro, and Maximillion makes reference to a slight that he was given by Suguru years ago. Suguru recalls that it was Buffaloman that insulted him, but Max doesn't care. He is enjoying himself. Suguru urges Mantaro to rise up and goes through a myriad of reasons why, such as the power of friendship, never giving up, etc. Mid explanation, he loses composure and we are treated to the actual "old, out of shape" Suguru that we have come to recognize. Maximillion finds this hilarious, as does the crowd, who were only moments before, in awe of the legend. Even Nakano and Yoshigai (Mac Metaphor) get into the act. Suguru is un-phased and continues trying to revive Mantaro. He even pulls out the home made rice bowl, made with love from Bibinba (Mantaro's mother), and does a cow song. Mantaro doesn't budge. Next he decides to use Rinko (Roxanne) as motivation. Suguru mentions Rinko as Mantaro's fiancé. Overhearing this, she adamantly denies it. Maximum Maximillion tells them to forget it, Mantaro will not recover. But Mantaro starts to stir, and Suguru starts to grin, knowingly. All the talk of friendship, food and Rinko gets him pumped and he gets back up fully restored. From the sidelines, Suguru is doing the happy dance, which is annoying the Baron to no end. Mantaro looks to Rinko and tells her not to worry. They'll be married after the match and she can start pumping out the babies from then on. Rinko gets majorly pissed at this and goes ballistic in her glass prison. Mantaro is oblivious to her fury, and thinks she is enjoying the wooing. Maximillion is disgusted at the absurdity of it all. From ringside, Suguru is still doing the happy dance, but takes a moment's break to hand a sticker to Mantaro. It is a sticker of a wedding cake with Mantaro and Rinko on it. Mantaro accepts it and places it on his forehead. He powers up to ultimate muscle as Suguru is overjoyed and the sticker is incinerated revealing the mark on his forehead.

Mantaro charges and suplexes Maximillion, head first over his shoulders. He goes to the corner post and leaps off with a big splash on the Baron. Meat warns against over confidence, as Mantaro ogles at Rinko. He sets up Maximillion for a figure 4 leg lock (Scorpion Pincher Lock), flipping him over and applying serious pressure to the lower back of the Baron. Maximillion is helpless while Mantaro adds in the pain. Everyone senses victory, but Mantaro decides to hot-dog around and drops the leg lock, in favor of a better finishing move. Mantaro's distraction gives the Baron a chance to get up, and he lands a hard kick to the back of Mantaro's shoulders, knocking him into the corner. He is visibly winded and Mantaro makes note of this. Maximum Maximillion morphs one more time into Maximillion Overdrive, a giant about 3 times as tall as Mantaro and buffed to the gills. Mantaro freaks out, as well as everyone else at the huge growth spurt. Un-phased, Mantaro charges him. After a little dodging, Max palms Mantaro's head, lifting him up and tossing him into the ropes. But before he can even rebound from the ropes, Maximillion lays a flurry of earth shaking kicks and punches on our hero. He continues to toss him around like a rag doll and eventually extends him over his head in a Tower Bridge. He calls for his finishing move, the Baron Wasteland, which is done as follows: He stretches Mantaro over his head in a back breaker, leaps up and begins to spin violently from left to right, becoming a blurring tornado. He then comes down head first, slamming Mantaro into the canvas and driving his armored head into Mantaro's mid-section. Mantaro is splayed out cold as Maximillion laughs heinously.

Episode 51 10/11/03 Back at the stadium in the crater, the crowd watches in awe as the enormous Maximillion Overdrive (the 3rd incarnation of Baron Maximillion) a.k.a. Mad Max, towers triumphantly over the dormant body of Kinniku Mantaro. The girls, Tamaki (Trixie) and Keiko (Kiki), are in denial and are looking for confirmation that Mantaro will get up again, but everyone, the Seigi Chojins (Muscle League) included, believe that he has lost his first match. Max vows to treat Rinko (Roxanne) like a flower as he moves a small rose between his enormous fingers. He begins to laugh as he smashes the rose into pieces. Rinko is disgusted and Maximillion tells her that he has won and the match is finished. But behind him, to the shock of everyone watching, Mantaro rises to his feet. Mantaro's friends are amazed at his recovery, but Meat notices that he is up, but still out cold, asleep.

Kinnikuman Suguru (King Muscle) confirms this. The group, Terry the kid, Sieuchin (Wally Tusket), Gazelleman (Dik Dik van Dik), Jade (Jaeger) and Checkmate run to the base of the ring to shout at Mantaro to wake up. Mantaro is oblivious, even as Meat shouts at him. Mantaro assumes a fighting stance, but is clearly, still asleep. Maximillion charges and pummels him violently. Meat is saddened, but Suguru approaches him to encourage him. He notes that Mantaro may be a deep sleeper, but that he is also a sleep fighter. A skill attained from years of sharing a bed with his dad (kinnikuman Suguru). He notes that they both toss and turn violently in their sleep, and as an after effect, learned how to fight and block in their sleep. Maximillion decides to palm Mantaro's head again and tosses him up, Landing sole to sole with Mantaro as he descends, in what Nakano San refers to as an "Otter Drop", a move similar to the Pile Driver Stallion Style used by Checkmate. Checkmate yells to Mantaro to remember when he escaped Checkmate's finisher. The snoozing Mantaro, as if my reflex, alters his feet to allow himself to flip up and head butt the knees of Mad Max. This breaks the hold and he falls into the ring ropes below. Maximillion lands on both feet and is stunned that he escaped the move. Maximillion approaches the slumped, snoozing Mantaro in preparation for another "Baron Wasteland".

As Max approaches, Jade un-fastens his skull broach and throws it towards Mantaro. It hits his forearm, landing safely in his gloved hand. As the Baron lifts Mantaro by the neck, Jade shouts and the Skull of Mysteries begins to glow. The sleeping Mantaro hits Maximillion clean across the chest with the Baron's red Rain (Red Rain of Pain) causing him to falter and fumble backwards. Terry notes that Jade's skull came in handy, and the group vows that they are there to support Mantaro. Rinko (Roxanne) clues in and begins to chant his name, "Mantaro, Mantaro, Mantaro!" ("Kid Muscle, Kid Muscle, Kid Muscle!") This gets the group going and also the crowd. Hearing his name from the thousands of supporters, something stirs in his subconscious. He dreams of Minch and the Ninja (Ninja Ned). In the dream they suddenly are sitting in a boat, in the middle of a lake, in a bank of fog. Mantaro is distressed and they remind him of his past victories, even when winning seemed impossible. They show the fights with Fork the Giant (Forkolossus), Hanzou and Bone Cold. Mantaro is oblivious to the fact that he is still in a fight, and the y remind him that this match is the most important yet. Mantaro looks over the edge of the boat, into the water, which begins to ripple. In the water, he sees visions of Tamaki (Trixie), Keiko (Kiki), Terry, Sieuchin, Jade, Gazelleman, Checkmate and even the crown at the stadium cheering him on. He also sees people from around the world rooting for him, in places as far away as New York, the arctic and India. Even past rivals are urging him on. He sees Fork the Giant, Hanzou, Bone Cold, Sunshine, Crione Man (Hydrozoa), Dead Signal (road Rage) and yes, even Scar Face (Mars/Eskara). What finally wakes him up is the sight of Rinko cheering him on. He is praised by his father for having the heart to go on, and powers up. He stands before Maximillion but is quickly hammered by Mad Max who knocks him to the ground. He stomps his head into the canvas, trying to keep him from fully powering up. Maximillion celebrates, but his victory is cut short as Mantaro calls on the power of friendship to escape from the foot press. The Baron grins at this development and slams Mantaro hard in the nose with a huge palm, knocking Mantaro into the ropes, and causing him to grab at his injured face. Coming off the roses is a furious and fully powered Mantaro.

Radiating with power, he strikes out at Maximillion with a spinning kick, sending him back, but as he hovers in the air, Max lands a solid clothesline, knocking Mantaro to the canvas. But Mantaro rolls out of danger quickly as the Baron tries to land a huge leg, Hulkster style. Mantaro grabs the Baron from behind and slingshots him backwards onto the canvas, introducing the Baron's thick neck to the hard canvas. Max launches them both up and mid air, Mantaro hits him with a powerful head but, using the advantage in momentum to flip him around and land a tremendous Kinniku-Driver. Billows of dust arise from ringside as the impact shakes the ring. But sooner than you can say dirt, Maximillion is back on his feet, un-phased. Mantaro is sitting against the ropes as the Baron approaches him, scoffing that he is unhurt. But as he steps forward, his knees buckle, as the damage has taken it's toll. Falling to his knees, a weakened Baron enrages himself, using every last drop of strength to grab Mantaro and begin the ascent for the Baron Wasteland. In the air, Mantaro agonizes painfully because of the g-force of the spinning tornado, but manages to break free of the hold. He rises higher than Maximillion and then comes down suddenly landing a hug leg on the back of the Baron. Reeling from the kick, Max grabs Mantaro's ankle and starts a violent spin, hurtling Mantaro onto the canvas below. Ricocheting out of the ring, in the general direction of Rinko's glass bubble, he stops just inches short of impact with the glass. Lying on his back and feet first (inches from the glass) he lifts his head to see Rinko's face and gives her a devious grin. It is then that everyone notices that he has a hold of one of the ropes, now stretched a couple hundred feet. As he begins his return, Mantaro is berated by Maximillion for thinking that the ropes would save him. Mantaro notes that he didn't grab the rope to save him, but rather he did it to set up the behemoth for the Muscle Millennium. Rebounding with such force that he is getting atmospheric burn up, he impacts the still falling Maximillion and nails him directly into the ropes with enough force to break the ropes, hit the inner wall of the crater and tunnel completely through to the outside of Mt. Fuji. (You REALLY have to see this). Maximillion chomps rock all the way through as Mantaro is propelled along, forehead to back, Ultimate Muscle symbol flaring with ever increasing velocity and pressure. The camera fades to white as we are taken to a distant shot of Mt. Fuji, showing a small puff of smoke as the two exit the mountain. The ground begins to shake violently as the smoke plume grows exponentially, causing birds to scatter, and those in the city nearby to think that Fuji is erupting. From the smoke we see a shape ejected and in the stadium there is speculation that both wrestlers are gone, resulting in a draw. But from the settling dust coming from the inner hole in the crater, we see Mantaro walking towards the ring victoriously. We are then treated to view of a screaming, agonizing Maximillion, hurtling into a mountain somewhere, landing with a loud, "OUCH". In the ring, Mantaro raises his fist in triumph as the crowd celebrates below. Rinko looks on proudly from her glass bubble. Mantaro looks to her but is perplexed as the floating Jester face begins to rumble. We see the smirking face of Mad Max as the spaceship explodes, hurtling Rinko over the edge of Mt. Fuji. Mantaro gives chase to the rocketing Rinko and at the edge of the peak, leaps off, hand outstretched to reach the hand of his love. He manages to reach her but misses and she hurtles off below. He freaks out and uses a fart to propel him to her at high velocity. With Rinko safe in his arms, the pair realizes that they are both hurtling toward the ground at breakneck pace. Just then Terry the Kid grabs Mantaro's ankle, then Jade grabs Terry and Sieuchin grabs Jade, weighted down at the end as Checkmate in Stone Stallion form lands with all four hooves on the mountain side. The force causes them to whip backs towards the mountain, where Gazelleman is playing catcher for the pair. On impact, Gazelleman is knocked back into the crater, as Mantaro hold Rinko in his arms. On the edge, Mantaro works up the nerve to ask Rinko for a kiss. He is stunned that she agrees, as is the crowd, who looks on is bewilderment. As he reaches her lips, Rinko pulls up Nakano San at the last second, causing Mantaro to plant a wet one on the toupee wearing announcer. Both guys are disgusted and gargling and Mantaro screams at Rinko for her treachery. Rinko says he was giving her the creeps. She walks up behind him, her arms on his shoulders and tells him that, "The truth is, that I love..." and then she is drowned out by the jester head space ship which gives a final blow as it erupts into falling dust. She walks away giggling as Mantaro tries to get her to repeat herself. He chases after her and the scene cuts to Kevin Mask riding off into the distance on a Harley. Next scene shows the guys, including Brocken Jr. and Terry Man, all around Mantaro who is engaged in stuffing his mouth. They all share a few laughs as the screen fades out to the bright blue sky.
